No matter how much we prep it feels like Diwali time is always a craze and I’m always trying to get so many things done. During this busy festive time I love having quick recipes that I can depend on. These five ingredient Chocolate Ladoos are just the mithai you need when you don’t have much time but want a crowd pleaser.
I made these five ingredient Chocolate Ladoos during Ganesh Chaturthi and my little one loved them so much that I just had to share them for Diwali.
Chocolate Ladoo Tips & Tricks
- Marie Biscuits area great base as they are light, airy, and minimally sweet
- You can stuff these with nuts, dates, or dried fruits
- Grease your palms well before rolling out the ladoos, this will make sure nothing sticks to your hands

- 15 Marie Biscuits / or a plain biscuit
- 2 tablespoon cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 2 tablespoon melted ghee or butter
- 2 teaspoon vanilla paste or extract
- ⅓ cup sweetened condensed milk
- In a food processor powder the biscuits until they resemble a sand like texture.
- In a large bowl mix together the powdered biscuits and cocoa powder. Once combined, mix in melted ghee, vanilla paste, and sweetened condensed milk.
- Grease your hands with ghee or butter and form ping pong sized Ladoos in the palms of your hands. Dust with cocoa powder and enjoy!
