3 Things Thursday {Week 59}

This past week has been hard as we lost my Papa (paternal grandfather). He is at peace now and is no longer suffering but still it feels as if a piece of childhood is gone. And because so much of this blog includes recipes inspired by my parents, grandparents and family memories, I found it difficult not to talk about it in this space. There are recipes I learned over the phone from my Mom, dishes I remember eating at my grandparents table. This week I am finally getting back into the swing of things and sharing some of my favorite sayings about grandparents.

If you are new to 3 Things Thursday and would like to learn more check out my initial post about it. For directions on how to link up, follow the post!

  1. I’m so sorry to hear about your loss, Nisha. I lost my paternal grandfather in November as well and so I can probably relate to how you are feeling. I really like quote #3… I’m sure your Papa will always be watching over you. *hugs*
