In a bowl mix your masala along with ginger garlic paste and cut chicken. Allow the chicken to marinate for a few minutes.

Cut or prepare your favorite taco toppings. Arrange them on a large platter along with the shells you’ll be using, soft or hard!

Use a heavy bottom pan to sauté your onions and capsicums. I like to give them a slight char for a sweet, smokey flavor. Arrange them on your taco platter.

In the same pan, add some more oil along with your chicken. Mix so all sides get evenly cooked and remove from heat once cooked from the inside, this will take under ten minutes!

Add the chicken pieces to the taco platter and serve. Allow everyone to customize their own tacos with their favorite toppings!

I used chicken tikka masala and ginger paste to marinate the chicken along with their chaat masala to season the peppers, onion and avocado. If you’re looking for a vegetarian alternative, use baby Bella mushrooms, paneer, tofu or a meat substitute with a generous dash of spices and lemon juice. We use hard shell tacos but soft shell would work great and serve them alongside avocado slices, salsa, lettuce and sour cream. You can add your favorite toppings and set up an at home taco station for some mealtime fun.
