We got our August Toka Box in and are sharing a peek of what’s inside! Little Mirchi was so thrilled that the Toka Elephant knew she was visiting her grandparents in Florida and the box got delivered where she was. (Mom win!) This month we received the book, Let’s Go and make your own vehicle of transport crafts. It’s so fun to see her curiosity each month as we get our boxes. My parents were thrilled to see her excitement when the mailman arrived with her Toka Box. You can see previous boxes here and here.

As I always express, one of the things I love about The Toka Box is that it’s very age appropriate. The crafts are interesting enough to get Little Mirchi excited but easy enough that she doesn’t loose interest. As each month passes Little Mirchi becomes more and more independent with the crafts. The books curated tie in perfectly with the crafts and activities included and work as great example points when teaching little ones. This month the learning theme was STEM learning.
Toka Box, is a wonderful a monthly treat that’s filled with hand picked children’s books, arts or crafts and a kid friendly recipe that makes learning fun. Each Toka Box subtly builds life skills from patience to problem-solving and incorporates academic themes such as reading, math, history, science and the arts. The boxes come tailored for two different age groups. The “Toka Junior” is for ages 3-5 and “Toka Explorer” for ages 5-8. We’re ambassadors for the Junior box as it’s age appropriate for Little Mirchi.
