I know I’ve been on a slight blogging hiatus for the past few months, but look at this face… Can you blame me? 😉
Now that we’ve settled into a routine I hope to be writing more frequently! While I’ve been MIA here’s what’s been happening:
1. I shared Little Mirchi’s birth story on Masala Mommas magazine in the New Mom Guide. (In case I haven’t mentioned it before – I’m the New Mom Guide writer & NYC correspondent for this wonderful magazine which connects South Asian Moms from all walks of life) You can read the story here.
2. Early July I attended a fondant cake decorating class with the boss himself, Buddy –THE Cake Boss. It was a fantastic learning opportunity & introduction to the easy to use tools that Buddy will be launching early this fall. It was my first time working with fondant but thanks to his tools it won’t be my last. His line includes novelty cake stands, cupcakes and cookie pans, cake decorations tools and more. 3. Little Mirchi is 3 months! I’m baffled at how fast time is flying. Feels like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. She’s amazing, each and every ounce of her. Everyday she surprises me with a new facial expressions and new sounds. Motherhood has been such a beautiful journey thus far… I am sure it will only continue to get sweeter!
