I love nautical themed things! With the fresh whites and blues, I think they are great for Spring and Summer events. Hubby Darling went to Navel School growing up and was a sea cadet so by default he is a sailor at heart (swears like one too at times :x) While I was pregnant and still unsure about the gender, I was sure I would do a nautical theme baby shower if it was a boy. When we found out we were having a girl a High Tea Babyshower only made sense and I saved the nautical theme for later. Fast forward to a few months ago while planning Little Mirchi’s 1st birthday party, I couldn’t think of anything that I really loved. My mom and hubby reminded me of the nautical theme and I decided to add pink to give it a girly touch.
