Afternoon Tea is reflective of the mood you want to set, whether it’s cozy and warm, feminine and whimsical or elegant and formal, choose a theme that best suits you and your guests. Because I hosted my event at the start of summer I wanted my guests to enjoy the warmth of the sun with the evening ‘s cool breeze.
Think about your guests when creating your Afternoon Tea menu. My guests were all ladies that enjoy both continental and South Asian flavors. Keeping true to flavors inspired by India I offered a selection of modern menu items with flairs of traditional flavor. Tea time is all about a variety of sweets and treats so I mixed traditional sweets like ladoos and kaju katli with contemporary sandwiches and pastries for a variety of foods and flavors. I exclusively created mango chutney + white cheddar tea sandwiches, a pistachio rose cake and creamy cardamom custard for my guests to enjoy with Tea India’s new select line of teas. Go here for a full list of menu items and recipes.
And without further delay, here are all the details for the much awaited giveaway where you could win tea for a year!
